This is a project to create a Japanese traditional folding screen painting, byobu by painter Cole Norton. We will share information about the making of it and these beautiful craftsmanship works.

The works are made in Tokyo, Japan, and will be shown personally in July in Yoh gallery for his show.

このプロジェクトは、水墨画家コールノートンが屏風を制作するプロジェクトです。天然岩絵具や画材を使い、職人さんにお願いして屏風を制作。その過程の様子、画材や職人技のみならず、描かれる花々や人物、自然、生き物、そしてその背後に流れる物語を紹介していきます。
